MagiCubots are a series of modular magnetic blocks that can snap together to build many robots with different functions. The Education Pack of MagiCubots contains 4 action blocks, 3 sensor blocks, 4 programming blocks, 1 battery block and 3 connector blocks. Combining these blocks, kids can build robots that move, rotate, emit light, and make sounds. In addition, the three sensor blocks are designed to detect environmental changes such as an approaching object (i.e. your hand) or a temperature change, and pass along the information to action blocks to induce certain actions. All the blocks snap together via embedded magnets, which also allow the flow of electricity and information.

Each pack of MagiCubots includes 9 cubic blocks with 1.5-inch side length, and 7 blocks with half that thickness. These blocks can be grouped into 5 categories: Programming blocks, Sensor blocks, Action blocks, Battery Block and Connector Blocks. 1) 3 sensor blocks: distance, shade and temperature. These cubes can sense the change in a distinct parameter and send a signal to action blocks to start a specific action pattern. 2) 4 action blocks: wheel, sound, flash and rotation. With the power provided by connected battery block, the changes detected by sensor blocks will induce movement of action blocks. 3) 5 programming blocks: 4 Coding Stones: these half-cubes can change the mode, strength and duration of action blocks to change their pattern of movement. They can also be adjusted by the Coding Stick to add more dimensions to the variables. 1 Coding Stick: a bright orange cube with a knob and a small screen. When connected with the battery, any action block and a Coding Stone, the Coding Stick allows the modification of parameters within the Coding Stones. Modifications will be delivered to the action blocks, eventually changing the action pattern and/or strength. 4) 3 Connector Blocks: lovely macaron colored connectors play the role of transmitting signals between sensor and action blocks. They can also be used as building blocks.
5) Battery Block: provides power for all other blocks. Averagely a fully-charged battery can last 2-6 hours. Battery Block is rechargable.
