Product Description
A brief description:
The working principle of carbonless paper is fairly simple. It consists of paper coated on the bottom and/or top with or and/or active substances. The back of the first sheet is coated with microcapsule dye. The top of the middle piece is coated with clay that reacts quickly with the dye to form a permanent mark. The back of the middle sheet is also coated with dye.The bottom sheet is coated with clay on the top and uncoated on the back. When someone writes on the paper, pressure from the tip of the writing instrument causes the microcapsules to rupture and spill the dye. Since the capsules are so small, the prints obtained are very accurate. Carbonless copy paper is also available in stand-alone versions, where the ink and clay are on the same side of the paper.
