These specialty foils have a unique coating that will only adhere to the specific type of styrene plastic found in toners used in laser printers and copiers. When exposed to moderate heat and high pressure, the foil will convert the black toner into any of 13 metallic shades, black, gray, white, color toner, and two special "metallics" for holographic films and "transparent". | ||

This product is not suitable for inkjet and Brother laser printers because of the toner they use (which will not re-fuse). A suitable toner image applicator (TIA) is also required to apply the heat and pressure required for toner transfer. An iron can also be used, but results can be mixed. | ||
