Product Description
Octopuses are cephalopods closely related to squid, squid, and cuttlefish. Baby octopuses live in marine environments ranging from shallow pools to deep waters. Octopus are found in all waters of Vietnam, but are mainly fished commercially in the Mekong Delta and Gulf of Thailand. Most of the catch is by-catch from trawling, dredging and tank net fisheries. Octopus is available year-round and our local fishermen harvest it every day. Octopus has no internal skeleton and can be fully cooked as long as the eyes, beak, guts, and ink sacs are cleaned.
Octopus flesh is white with a delicate, slightly sweet, salty and firm texture. Especially low in fat.
