Use the RS-M500 app (for iOS™/Android™) to remotely control the IC-M510 via WLAN. Up to three smart devices can be used as wireless microphones or remote controls in place of COMMANDMIC™. Intercom functionality between your smart device and the radio is also available.
With its integrated AIS receiver* or external NMEA sentences (3rd party AIS receiver, transponder), the IC-M510 can display real-time AIS vessel traffic information on the display. You can make individual DSC calls to selected AIS targets directly from the AIS screen.
The color TFT LCD offers nearly 180-degree viewing angles. The wide display features high-resolution characters and function icons. The night mode screen ensures good readability in low light conditions.
The IC-M510 is slim (depth: 53.6 mm; 2.1 inches) and easy to install on your boat. Its new sleek design is suitable for panel or trunnion mounting.
The navigation function guides you to a designated waypoint or AIS target. You can specify up to 100 destinations as waypoints.
The IC-M510's built-in speaker enhances received audio. The waterproof speakers provide excellent sound quality and a wide frequency range for powerful, clear audio.
The optional CT-M500 wireless interface box provides NMEA 2000™ connectivity and bi-directional Hailer/PA functionality. CT-M500 and radio can be connected via WLAN. This separate interface box option allows the flexibility to position the unit closer to the point of connection to the NMEA network.
When connected to the optional MA-510TR Class B AIS Transponder, the AIS Target Call feature allows you to make individual DSC calls without manually entering the MMSI number.
