Huaacoustics Flexible Mass Loaded Vinyl is a sound insulation felt with some flexibility of rubber. Using polymer material as the main raw material, it is mainly used for wall insulation and ceiling insulation together with MgO or gypsum board, and is also suitable for pipelines, mechanical noise reduction and vibration reduction devices. Soundproofing mass-loaded vinyl reduces the transmitted energy of incident sound sources, keeping the room quiet.

Construction method

(1) Clean the wall.
(2) Install the vibration-damping keels with a spacing of about 600mm. The gap can be filled with sound-absorbing cotton. Try to avoid rigid contact and lay a generous load of vinyl on the studs inside the keel.
(3) Install gypsum board or magnesia board on the keel, then glue heavily loaded vinyl, fire and sound insulation composite board again, and use multipurpose slime or screws to secure the sound insulation blanket.
(4) Seal all seams with construction sealant.
