Ejector 1 revolution Spindle feed per revolution 0.5 mm 2.0 mm Conventional model QuantuMike • QuantuMike is equipped with a function lock to prevent the origin from being moved by mistake during measurement.
• A scale is provided on the sleeve for use with the reference mark on the thimble to check every millimeter of displacement for extra confidence.
• Ratchet thimble mechanism helps ensure repeatable results by transmitting micro-vibration along the spindle to the contact surface to provide constant measurement force and promote good contact with the workpiece. The ratchet works with the thimble and governor, so it's always easy to use - even when measuring with one hand. The sound of the ratchet provides the user with a sense of confidence, while the governor enables the fast spindle feeds needed when measuring different sizes.
• Statistical process control systems and measurement network systems can be built to share quality-related information with models equipped with data export capabilities. (See page A-3 for details.) • A range of convenient interface input tools are available to convert measurement data into keyboard signals and enter them directly into cells in off-the-shelf spreadsheet software such as Excel. (See page A-13 for details.) • Excellent oil, water and dust resistance (IP65 rating) allows this product to be used in processing environments including splash coolant. • Measuring surface: Carbide.
