ZYSL thrust ball bearings are produced as unidirectional or bidirectional thrust ball bearings. They are only designed to carry axial loads and must not carry any radial loads.
ZYSL thrust ball bearings are separable, i.e. the shaft washer, seat washer, ball and cage assemblies can be mounted separately. The shaft washer has a grounding hole for an interference fit. The hole of the seat ring is always larger than the hole of the shaft ring after rotation.

One-way thrust ball bearing

ZYSL one-way thrust ball bearings consist of a shaft washer, a seat washer and a ball and cage assembly (fig. 1). As the name suggests, one-way thrust ball bearings can accommodate axial loads and axially locate the shaft in only one direction.

The dimensions of ZYSL thrust ball bearings conform to DIN 711:1988 and DIN 715:1987. Dimensions of bearings with flat washers conform to ISO 104:2002.

The height H1 values given for bearings with spherical housing washers apply only to ZYSL bearings with ZYSL washers.

tolerance

ZYSL thrust ball bearings are manufactured to normal tolerances. Some one-way bearings with flat races are also available with increased accuracy to tolerance class P6 or tolerance class P5. Please contact ZYSL for availability before ordering.

Normal, P6 and P5 tolerances in accordance with ISO 199:1997.

dislocation

Axial ball bearings with flat seat washers cannot accommodate any misalignment between the shaft and the housing or angular misalignment between the housing and the support surface on the shaft.
