Common mode chokes offer multiple phase
A choke is simply an air to ferromagnetic core coil that can be used as an inductor reluctance. They are typically used for single or three phase use. CWS now also offers them for two phase and four phase use. A common mode choke is connected in series to the supply and return conductor pair. They are ideal for EMI filtering on signal and power lines. Most common mode chokes can handle high AC currents without compromising performance. Ferrite Chokes and Nanocrystalline Chokes Our early phase common mode choke designs were created with ferrite. A ferrite choke is a passive electronic component that suppresses high frequencies in electronic circuits. Our 2-phase, 3-phase and 4-phase common mode choke coils are designed with nanocrystalline magnetic cores to significantly reduce the size of the common mode choke coils.
