Thickener is a kind of solid-liquid separation equipment based on gravity settling.

The pulp with a solid content of 10%~20% can be concentrated into an underflow pulp with a solid content of 45%~55% by gravity sedimentation, and the concentrated underflow pulp is discharged from the underflow port of the machine. The thickener is operated slowly by a rake installed inside the thickener. The upper part produces a cleaner clarified liquid (overflow), which is discharged from the top annular chute.
