Sealing sleeves are used on many brands of pressure gauge plugs to prevent leaks and ensure efficient operation. They consist of

Due to its design, this type of valve can operate at temperatures up to 550°C (in the absence of pressure) (depending on the type of valve and the material used). The temperature is allowed to decrease (to 150C) as the fluid pressure (60 bar) increases.
application
A popular application for graphite sleeves is sealing the drain cocks of liquid level gauges (see photo on the left). The use of graphite sleeves provides smooth and reliable operation of the cock as well as high resistance to aggressive effects and contamination of the medium.
A sealing bush with holes is placed between the two rings through which fluid flows when the piston exposes them. Due to its simple design, the piston valve can be easily removed and replaced with worn parts - usually graphite sealing rings. This solution is characterized by good sealing, reliability and resistance to contamination and deposits.
