A trough distributor consists of a long tunnel called a trough and one or more compartmentalized boxes for delivering liquid to the trough. The distribution box helps control the tank feed rate and ensures a proportional distribution of liquid. The space between the slots allows steam to pass through. The number and position of the parting boxes depends on the column diameter. The orifice can be located in the wall or in the bottom of the tank. When the orifice is located on the wall, guide tubes are provided on the wall to guide the flow of liquid.

Trough distributors are usually placed on ledges/support rings. Can also be hung on beams. Advantages of Separation
The housing has no joints and therefore provides an excellent liquid tight seal. A redistributor is not provided in this model.

What types of liquid dispensers are available?
There are many types of liquid dispensers according to different standards and conditions of use. Overall, it comes in four types.
* Nozzle.Hemispherical nozzles distribute liquid evenly over a bed of random or structured packing. There are many small holes of 3 to 10 mm on the nozzle. Suitable for smaller packed towers with a diameter less than 600mm.

* Perforated pipe dispenser.Single or double rows of perforated tubes distribute liquid evenly over the packed bed through the perforations under the tubes. Widely used in medium liquid tower, vacuum distillation tower, wire mesh structured packing tower. It can be made into trapezoid and ring shape.

* Via dealer.There are two types of through-type and through-disc type, which are widely used in heavy liquids, gas loads, high-viscosity liquids and liquids containing suspended solids.

* Orifice plate dispenser.It can be divided into orifice plate type and disc type. Liquid will flow down through the perforations or overflow from the annular space between the dispenser and container. Suitable for small diameter towers below 800mm.
